Schroders appoints Martha Sele as ETF Sales Specialist for France, Belgium and Luxembourg

News Release - Paris, 6 October 2026

Schroders today announces the appointment of Martha Sele as ETF Sales Specialist for France, Belgium and Luxembourg, reinforcing its commitment to meeting growing client demand for active ETFs across key European markets.

In this newly created role, Martha will be responsible for driving active ETF distribution across these markets, supporting clients and strengthening Schroders’ active ETF presence. Martha, who is based in Paris, brings a strong track record across institutional and intermediary markets. She has previously held senior ETF-focused roles at State Street and BNP Paribas.

The appointment comes as Schroders continues to expand its active ETF range, combining its long-standing active investment expertise with the transparency, accessibility and efficiency of an ETF wrapper. Following the launch of its first two UCITS active ETFs in September 2025, Schroders’ UCITS active ETF offering has widened to provide US, Japan, European and Global Paris-aligned active equity products, alongside a Global Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF, and reached $4.3 billion in assets under management1.

Last week, Schroders also announced the launches of the Schroder CoCo Financial Credit Active UCITS ETF and Schroder USD Investment Grade Corporate Bond Active UCITS ETF, on the London Stock Exchange.

Schroders has also recently appointed Hans-Jörg Morath as ETF Sales Specialist for Switzerland.

Audrey Walter, Head of France, Belgium and Luxembourg said:

“Martha’s appointment signals our commitment to growing Schroders’ active ETF platform across the region. She brings significant experience to the role and a proven track record of delivering for clients in the region.
“Demand for active ETFs in Europe has accelerated as investors increasingly look for solutions that combine the structural benefits of ETFs, including transparency and cost efficiency, with the potential for active managers to generate differentiated returns. The European active ETF market has tripled in recent years to reach €78.4 billion, underlining the scale of the opportunity.

Tom Stephens, Head of ETFs at Schroders said:

“As we continue to build our growing UCITS active ETF franchise, which is now in the top 10 largest by assets globally, strengthening Schroders’ specialist distribution channels in key markets is an important part of our strategy.
“The recent appointments of Martha Sele in Paris and Hans-Jörg in Zurich add further depth to our client coverage in these regions and their local expertise will help us broaden access to Schroders’ active investment capabilities through the ETF wrapper. We expect to make further additions to the team in key markets in the coming months.”
